Planning a big event like a wedding is a complicated task. There are so many moving parts and all you want to do is to simply enjoy the day as it unfolds. That’s why hiring a Wedding Filmmaker is the perfect opportunity to help capture and relive your big day!
Videography has always been a passion of mine, especially authentic storytelling. I’m not here to give you the same treatment that a traditional production company might give. I'm here to assist you in your special day, add fun to the experience, and create a heirloom that you and your family will cherish and love to rewatch years later!
In all of our packages, an assistant will be present to help get multiple angles throughout the Ceremony and Reception. This allows us to capture both of your faces during the vows, reactions of family members, and ensures everything goes smoothly at the church and/or venue!

Wedding Investment Options
Story-Driven Wedding Film

Just The Ceremony
(2 hours of coverage)
For those who simply want coverage of the Sacramental Mass or Ceremony. This is for couples that do not want the rest of the day filmed, only a few portraits afterwards.
I typically use 3-4 cameras and multiple audio recording devices to capture the best angles and sounds to create a cohesive multi-cam experience.
It's important to be able to rewatch the full Ceremony from start to finish, along with any live audio during the vows!

For those who want all the essentials of the day covered from Ceremony to the Speeches. This is for couples who want just the main events documented plus some portraits featured into a Short Highlight.
I typically use 3-4 cameras and multiple audio recording devices to capture the best angles and sounds to create a cohesive multi-cam experience of the Ceremony and the Reception Speeches.
It's important to be able to rewatch the full Ceremony and Reception Speeches from start to finish, bringing back laughter and tears years later!

For those who prefer a longer edit of all the essentials of the day covered from Getting Ready to the Dancing. This is for couples who want a little bit of everything to be showcased into their films told in a "story driven" direction.
A "story driven" Highlight Film prioritizes the development of characters and their emotional journeys as the central focus of the narrative.
Included in this package is an Engagement Session, where we will capture both photo and video portraits during a fun date at 1-2 locations, as well as some easy-to-answer interview questions that may be used in the introduction of your films.
These extra options for footage allows us to create a more in-depth film about how you met and helps show more of your personalities and adventures throughout your courtship!

Similar to a photoshoot, we can schedule a creative videoshoot 6-8 weeks before the wedding date to capture couples portraits, along with easy-to-answer interview questions like:
"How did you first meet?"
"How did you feel after your first date?
"When did you think he would propose?
Opportunity to include some of this footage/audio into your Extended Highlight Film as well as any of your Personal Phone Footage that you would like shared.
Includes a short video to share on social media or your wedding website as you countdown the final days leading up to your wedding!

As storytellers, we can capture quick interviews of guests during the cocktail hour by setting up an audio recorder. This enables you to hear kind words from family and guests and listen to some of their reactions to the wedding day events!
We will need to hire an assistant to be in charge of setting up the extra audio.

Estimated Payment Schedule
Typically there is a 20% Deposit, along with a signed proposal to secure your date, due within 10 days of signing. Another 40% is due 2-4 weeks before the wedding date.
We understand there are a lot of investments that go into planning a wedding, so we thought it might be helpful to space out the payments. Since vendors such as Photographers, Videographers, Flower Pressers, or Painters deliver their final products after the event, any remaining payment(s) will not be due until 4-6 weeks after the wedding date. Payments can be sent through Check, Cash, or Zelle, which I am registered under my cell phone number.

20% Non-Refundable Deposit = $670
40% Due 2-4 Weeks Before = $1340
40% Due 4-6 Weeks After + Travel Fee (see below) = $1340 + $40
Any Post-Ordered Optional Add-Ons are invoiced after delivery
Optional Add-Ons
If desired, you may pre-order custom video edits listed above if not already included in your collection. If you end up not ordering them before your wedding date, you still have the opportunity to order Optional Add-Ons up to 10 months after the event. We'd be happy to edit more videos for you, however we may have other edits to delivery in the queue, so if requested after the event date, then a 20% Expedited Fee will be applied to accommodate updates to our editing schedule.

Additional Travel
I am willing to travel to surrounding states of Illinois, however, my home base is located in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. Any transportation charges to surrounding suburbs near Wauconda to Arlington Heights are included. If the church/venue location(s) are over 20 miles from these cities, I will need to add an additional $0.50 per mile traveled to help cover gas.
Example:
120 miles roundtrip - 40 miles included = 80 miles additional
$0.50 x 80 = $40 additional travel fee
Music Approach
I select a mixture of cinematic instrumental and uplifting lyrical songs to edit into your films. I do my best to listen and curate playlists beforehand that potentially match your unique style and wedding vision. By combining these hand-picked songs with the footage and live-audio captured at your wedding day, we can create an emotional and impactful story!
In order to follow copyright regulations, I must utilize songs from royalty-approved music sites, such as Soundstripe and FyrFly. These sites have a wide array of music genres to pick from and allow us to properly license and publish the films. We currently pay for annual subscriptions, but there is no extra cost to you because we have made the investment into these services to improve the overall quality of your films!
Estimated Delivery
Please note, as a growing small business, we prefer to maximize on the depth we provide to our clients, so we currently only work with up to 6 couples a year.
Delivery of the Ceremony Film will be sent digitally within 2-4 months after the event
Delivery of the Reception Speeches will be sent digitally within 2-4 months after the event
Delivery of the Short Highlight Film will be sent digitally within 3-5 months after the event
If included in your collection, delivery of the Extended Highlight Film will be sent digitally within 5-7 months after the event
If ordered as an Optional Add-On, delivery of any Special Moment Edit will be sent digitally within 6-8 months after the event
